In your opinion, what are the top 10 qualities you look for in a best friend? Here's mine:

sounds like you have a pretty good handle on this. i totally agree with your list.

I'd add another one

a good friend does not keep score. For example, if I go out and buy or make a gift "just because" they don't feel the need to run out and pay me back. Additionally they will let me have the honor of doing things to help them. So many sighted people don't feel comfortable with letting me do this. The longest lasting friendships are forged on a two way street.

Wow, I just make friends, I don't bother keeping a list of why I am friends with them. It just happens, they're people, they're cool people, they have their problems, I got mine, it's all good.

as long as they are trustworthy and can make good conversation, then it is good. oh yeah, and i don't like people who are friends with you one minit, and then decide they don't like you for some random reason

i agree with post 3.
and i think the only way to have a friend is by being one. so if we're looking for something in a friend, we should look for these things in ourselves first.
not sure i make sense...

It's a great list, but most people, and flaws, do tend to get in the way.
